Workplace Massage

This page is about chair/seated massage delivered at your place of business. It's referred to as Workplace or On-site massage. Workplace massage...:

- Is given by a professional massage therapist using a specially designed chair.
- Lasts 5 to 20 minutes
- Uses no oil, and takes place with the employee fully clothed
- Depending on the service option chosen the individual session may include the head, neck, shoulders, back, and arms.
- Leaves employees feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready to return to work.

Workplace massage excels as a wellness program.

It's convenient. No need to change clothes, shower, or leave work to participate.

Results are immediate -- while some wellness programs take months to show results.

It's easy and safe. No special fitness level or training is required to receive a chair massage. I use specially designed face covers and an antibacterial disinfectant to clean the massage chair after each individual use.

Effects are cumulative. Consistent use reinforces the benefits.

It encourages other steps to wellness. Regular massage helps people feel better and will help motivate them to take care of themselves in other ways, such as diet, exercise, or other lifestyle changes. Chair massage is given in shorter sessions, and it offers many of the same benefits as table massage..

How do you get started -- three easy steps...

Your first consultation is over the phone (304-614-6707). I will then visit your office and help you plan a program specifically designed for your staff.

I like to give either you or your designee a complimentary massage, so one of you understands exactly what seated massage is and can answer questions about it from those who will benefit from the program.

We sign a contract or memorandum of understanding outling what will happening and including other details.

The Fee for providing massage at the workplace:

The fee for the first three hour engagement is $198.00* -- based on an initial engagement of three hours**. This includes the total cost for providing Workplace chair massage for up to eighteen of your valuable staff members.

An example of what we could do in three hours** is as follows depending upon which of the following scenarios is chosen.

Up to 18 employees can enjoy a "Thumper", a five-minute back massage using a mechanical hand held professional massage device. People love it! $198

Up to 12 employees can enjoy a "BackRub", a ten-minute massage with focus on the neck, shoulders, upper and lower back which includes the above Thumper treatment. More time with each employee is appreciated. $198

Up to 6 employees can enjoy the "Ultimate" Chair Massage, a twenty-minute massage which includes all of the above plus work on the scalp, the arms, hand and fingers*. $198

* Please note: In addition to the actual hands on time with the client in the chair, there is also a brief health screening before the session begins.

**After the initial 3 hour engagement- the fee is based on $49.00 per hour for each full or partial hour. That also applies when I return to your office--the fee is based on a flat $49.00 per hour with a three hour minimum.

How the Workplace program works

A plan to deliver workplace massage is developed directly with the CEO or Owner or someone she or he delegates. We work together to establish the time and location ifor the massage program so it will provide employees the most benefit, and also assure the most efficient use of the employees time. Also included in the plan is an agreement on how the program is to be promoted and communicated to the employees so that everyone feels included and supportive and enthusiastic about this employee benefit.

Method of payment:

Business check or cash. Payment for this program may come from the sponsoring organization, or from the employee. Those arrangements are outlined in the a contract between DDM and your organization. Credit cards are not accepted at this time.
