Hi, Neighbor,

The first six months of my new massage practice in Elkins has been good. I've met many new people, and they have been positive in their support. Most recently, I volunteered in a health fair sponsored by D&E and Davis and Memorial Hospital, and it was a successful effort on the part of many agencies and individuals. In four hours, I was able to provide twenty-four individuals with seated massage, and it would have been more if we hadn't run out of time.
As you may have observed, I am re-entering my massage therapy career slowly, so am consiously experimenting with different ways of doing business. One thing I have learned during these past six months is that as traditional as it is to have a physical address with a shingle hanging outside, it may be a luxury in this economy, and just not necessary. So for the balance of this year, I've decided to experiement with providing all of my clients with massage service exclusively in their homes or at their place of employment. I will close my office at 212 John Street effective on June 14. Next year, I'll look at how it went, and go from there.
I hope you will respond to this new web site with any thoughts or suggestions you may have especially with regards to my "taking the business on the road".
